We spent Christmas in Utah with my family this year. Some of the festivities included a photo shoot with my mom and my dad Steve's entire family. Unfortunately, I don't think the pictures of the entire family turned out as well as this one of our individual family above. This must mean that the Laughtons are the best-looking and most photogenic of the whole Moulton-Bybee clan. Just kidding, fam!

After the family party, Adam and I and our kids headed down to Temple Square with my brother David and my sister-in-law Sarah, my sister Caroline, my sister Ashley, and her boo Michael.
Seriously, Michael, I always make fun of you for being a model, but you are totally busting the Blue Steel here.
One of the highlights of the evening was running into one of my oldest and best friends, Amanda Armstrong Nicholas, and her husband Mike and adorable kids while we were down at Temple Square. They live in New Orleans so it was an especially weird coincidence that they happened to be there that night. (Of course, our lives have been full of coincidences, haven't they, Amanda? :))

No way! You got to see Amanda, Mike, and their crew? So jealous. How about coming up here and randomly running into me as you visit your old mission? I'll come up with an excuse to meet you in an orchard outside Naches.
It really was so cool seeing y'all there! The kiddos are adorable! It was like time hadn't even passed. I wish we could've chatted more. We'll have to do that another time. Happy New Year!
That's so cool that you got to see Amanda, in Utah no less. Things like that always happen in the Mormon world. Looks like you had a great time in Utah. Your kids are just adorable, by the way!
