Getting Close
It has been a long week of swelling, sleeplessness, and contractions. I saw the doctor this morning and she says I am at a 4, 60% effaced, and will definitely not be making it to my induction date next week. Actually, she says she thinks I will be in labor within the next 24 hours. My contractions are definitely getting stronger every hour but are not really regular enough yet to head to the hospital. I'm laying down trying to hold them off until at least after my mom arrives from Salt Lake at 4:30. Will she make it in time? Stay tuned ...

Wishing you a wonderful delivery! So glad to hear your mother will be here this afternoon. Can't wait to hear the baby news!
We'll be praying for a quick (but not before 4:30...), painless (yeah, right) delivery! We're waiting breathlessly!
