I had to laugh as I watched this event unfold. Unfortunately, pulling all the books off the shelves of the bookcase is a chronic condition that all children suffer from until they are about 5 years old. So here's to 4 more years of cleaning up piles of books!
Yes my children still suffer from clearing off any shelf or dumping any container that contains toys. Not to play with them mind you, but just to dump them and walk away.

Perhaps those low shelves should be only the stuffed animals?
