Dear Santa

Dear Santa,

Mommy says it is early to be writing you letters already, but I don't want your elves to get too far into any projects before I let you know that I've got a few thoughts about what I'd like to see under the tree this Christmas.  But first let me say that I've been a good girl, really REALLY good.  I learned to use the potty ... most of the time.  I am a star student at preschool and know all my letters, numbers, colors, shapes and even the Pledge of Allegiance.  I've (mostly) stopped pushing my little brother down and sitting on him.  I think that deserves a little bit of appreciation, don't you, Santa?  So I just thought I would let you know that I love any kinds of toys that have to do with Disney Princesses, I love dress-up clothes, I love coloring and stickers, and I love books.  Mom says I should tell you I need some dresses for church and some winter clothes for school, but that stuff's boring.  I want a bike, please.  And a helmet.  (Don't forget the helmet, Santa.  Safety first!)

Since my little brother Grey can't write, I thought I would throw in a good word for him too.  Grey loves trains (especially Thomas the Tank Engine) and cars and balls and pirates and puppy dogs and board books.  But what he really, really wants for Christmas is a pink Barbie Powerwheels Cadillac that we can both ride in.  (Okay, Santa, so maybe Grey isn't the one that wants the Caddy.)  Mom says Grey needs church clothes too.  But like I said before, Santa, we like toys.

I imagine you guys are pretty busy up there at the North Pole so I'll wrap it up.  Just remember, Santa--I've been good.  Really good.  But that all could change if this doesn't work out the way I want it to.

P.S. Mom said she'd write all this down if I would mention to you that she wants a minivan.  I told her that, magic or not, you'll never be able to get that into your bag and down the chimney, but Mommy says to have faith in your dreams and one day they will come true.
