I just started teaching a summer class this week at Duke. Adam asked me if I had mentioned to my students that I was pregnant. I told him that I figure that if they can't work that one out then they shouldn't be at Duke in the first place. Just look at that belly!

Ariel, you'd be surprised. I had people tell me just in the last couple weeks, that they didn't know I was pregnant. These are people that I've seen on a weekly basis for my entire pregnancy. I thought I looked obviously pregnant by at least week 23 or 24, but no, week 29 and someone at church on Sunday just barely figured it out!
People are silly and have no clue when it comes to pregnant women. You are looking great for 26 weeks along. I remember people asking me around 6 months how soon I was due, or how late I was. Their chins hit the ground when I told them in another three months. Then the last six weeks everyone asked how the twins were doing. Can I help it if I have large babies?
