Our Little Boy

Today, we had the official "big" ultrasound. It stinks that my current OB doesn't have as nice of a machine as my friend who did the earlier one or the doctors who did all of Charlotte's, but we were relieved to hear that the baby looks healthy and great.

While I'm not going to show you the pictures, I will tell you that we could tell that this child is definitely a boy. (He was quite the exhibitionist when it came to showing off his goods today.) He was laying on his stomach and had his hands up over his face so we didn't get a good profile picture, but you can make out his arms and some of his little face in the above picture. Below, you can see his cute little foot.

Bluebonnets

A couple of days ago, Charlotte and I went out to Brenham with our friends the Sparks to visit the Blue Belle Ice Cream Factory and see the Bluebonnets that are in bloom all over the countryside. Kelly was nice enough to take some pictures of Charlotte frolicking among the flowers. They turned out beautifully. Thanks, Kelly!

I especially love this one.

Our Ongoing Love of Duke B-Ball

In honor of Duke's trip to the Final Four tonight, here are a couple of pics borrowed from my friend Bri's blog of our trip to the Sweet Sixteen game last weekend. We had a very fun night with our old friends from law school, the Stewarts, even though our seats were terrible. GO DUKE!!! (I was the only one without a Duke shirt on because my belly is already busting out of all the ones I own.)

Charlotte Lately

Remember this baby mullet? It is gone. Charlotte got her first haircut when Grammy was here two weeks ago.

Meet Our Tater Tot

So ... It's a BOY! My sweet friend Nicole is a rad tech and she was kind enough to do an ultrasound for us at her work this morning. The baby is about 16 weeks now so once we got him to uncross his legs we could tell that Charlotte is going to have a baby brother. He was measuring a few days ahead of schedule, so maybe he will come early like she did. (Oh, and his head is measuring a full week ahead of schedule just like Charlotte's did. It looks like we have another big-headed Bybee baby on the way.)
